The ladies at Simple Reviews have another great contest- you could win a new apron! The apron is so cute! Hop on over to Flirty Aprons and check out all the aprons available! I am always getting something on me while I am cleaning, cooking or baking- water from the dishes, flour from dough or spaghetti splatters! I have been tempted to purchase one, but always talked myself out of it! These aprons are too cute to pass up! If I win, I will pick the Blue Chocolate Apron.
Interested in trying to win one for yourself? Head on over the Simple and enter the contest! If you post about the contest and link to Simple and Flirty Aprons, you get to enter the contest twice! What a sweet deal!

Today my Hubbie is 27 yrs old. We have known each other since 1998 and have been “together” since Jan 2001. ( I can’t believe I’m old enough or have known him 10 yrs!) My wonderful Hubbie has grown a lot and changed a lot in that time. In almost 10 yrs he has gone from an angry teenager to a strong Christian man. He knows what he wants and he knows who he is. He has a soft heart and loves his family. He is extremely sacrificial and SO very sarcastic! He does what is needed around the house(I have trained him well!!!) and puts up with my complaining, moodiness or just general wife-y type stuff. I love him so very much and so proud to call him my husband.
Hubbie….Happy Birthday! We love you and I am so proud of all that you’ve accomplished and who you are! I hope I get to celebrate many more birthdays with you!

I have been putting several things on craigslist. The things that I am putting up for sale have been a few baby items that Peanut either grew out of or didn’t seem to enjoy. They were old and I know I could have saved them for another child, but since most of the items were used anyway, we just figured we could purchase or borrow things the next time around. One of the things we put up was our table. It has been a wonderful table. Large table with a leaf and 6 chairs. We have been able to fit 7 or 8 ppl around it and have never been sorry about the purchase. Hubbie and I purchased this table a few weeks after we got married. It has been the only piece of furniture that we have purchased brand new. The house that we are moving to has an eat in kitchen (so excited! can’t believe i don’t have to clean spaghetti off the carpet anymore!!!) and a dining room. Hubbie and I have gone back and forth about whether to use the kitchen as an eat in kitchen or just stick to eating in the dining room. Well, the table has been sold. I put the table on craigslist at noon today and someone is coming to get it this evening! I can’t believe its sold! I can’t believe I don’t have a table and chairs to eat off of! Oh my goodness! Good bye old table!

My Bubbie is quite the character. He is my darling boy. I love him to pieces. He is constantly doing. Go. Go. Go. Move. Move. Move. Talk. Talk. Talk. A few weeks ago we met a playgroup Momma and her two little kiddos at the park. We got to the park a little early. There were a few mommas and their chillin’s at the park already. Two little boys- maybe 4 yrs old- were playing some kind of pirate game. Bubbie, being Bubbie and never knowing a stranger- walked up to them, told them his name and showed them his race car. One of the little boys was a piece of work. He told Bubbie not to talk to them and ran away. Any time Bubbie got close to the little boys whether on the jungle gym or on the ground, the “real piece of work” kiddo would call Bubbie a name. Loser. Frank. Kid. Whatever. Bubbie was already a little dramatic that day. Maybe he was sleepy or what. He just didn’t take all that talking too well. Bubbie was pushed by this kid once on the jungle gym. It was a huge melt down. By this point, I was about to pack up my kid and leave. The playdate Momma showed up and I told her the situation. I kept a real close eye on Bubbie and told him to play with the kids that came to meet us. Well, the “real piece of work kid” called him Frank AGAIN. Bubbie wasn’t gonna take that any more. He hollared “MY NAME IS NOT FRANK. ITS BUBBIE (insert his real name).” I finally stepped in and told Bubbie to ignore this kid and play somewhere else. Another Mom noticed this and asked me what was up. Her son was the other kid that the “real piece of work” kid was playing with. She told her friend, the kid’s mom and thankfully she punished the mean kid and made him sit in time out. Bubbie has mentioned this park incident several times. Each time he explains the kid’s actions and what he said to the little boy. I make sure I listen real closely to his explaination. I want to make sure that Bubbie feels very secure and loved. I hug him extra tight after he finishes and kiss him a whole lot. Bubbie is a 100% boy. He can play too rough at the park sometimes. He can be loud. He can be disobedient and B-A-D, but this little kid doesn’t take bullying and pickin’ on too well. Especially from other kids. He loves everyone and everyone is his friend or a playmate! I want to tell him that the world just doesn’t work this way and that everyone won’t like him or be his friend, but for now, this little boy needs to think the world is a wonderful, friendly place. He doesn’t need life’s disappointments yet. I guess I’ll let him be my Bubbie for a little bit longer. The reality of life will hit soon enough!

Yes, you read right. The Bubbie and the Hubbie have now joined Peanut and I with the sickies! This cold stinks and its a nasty one! Peanut seems to be doing a little better. He slept better last night… not as much moaning and groaning! I kept him in the bed with us again- just in case he wanted to eat or needed me. He really has lost his appetite so I’m trying to nurse whenever he’ll take it. Speaking of Peanut, I got his antibiotic for free yesterday at Publix. Be sure to always check with Publix first- before filling an antibotic prescribtion anywhere else…. You can’t beat free drugs!
As far as the move goes, nothing got done yesterday. Ha! We’re in the process of trying to find a fridge. That probably should be prority No. 1- since we can’t move into the new place without one!
We’re gonna stay home from church today. I wouldn’t want the boys to spread our love…err….sickies to everyone else! Big bummer!

is sick. Yup! Peanut has an ear infection in both ears! Bless his heart! He and I were up ALL night last night. He couldn’t go to sleep and barely slept at all yesterday. I am thankful that we were able to get some medicine at the doctor’s office today. I am praying that he will be as good as new by Monday! This darn cold is a bad one! Now Hubbie and Bubbie have got a runny nose and a sore throat! Here we go! With the move coming in less than two weeks…. I hope we get over this soon!

If you follow me on Twitter, you would have seen my message. Just got home. I have poop on my sleeve and spit up on my shoulder. Who knows HOW long either have been there? My hair is in a pony tail and I have NO makeup on (my family might die if they knew this! very unusual for me!)…. Have I have truly evolved into a “typical” stay at home mommie? At least I took a shower and I did make it ouside the house today- we went to Wally World, lunch and the library!
